Welcome to the Aura's Workshop Crystal Guide A–Z – everything you need to know about the crystals and gemstones we love, from Agate to Unakite.

For every crystal you'll find what it is and how it forms, where it's found, its history, astrology and birthstone details, its traditional meaning, how to use it, and how to care for it. Physical facts are checked against trusted mineral and gem references such as Mindat.org, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the American Gem Society. Traditional and metaphysical meanings are clearly labelled as belief and folklore.
