Create a beautifully atmospheric incense experience with Satya Palo Santo Backflow Dhoop Cones. Combining Satya’s distinctive incense craftsmanship with the warm, woody character associated with Palo Santo, these special cones are designed for use with a backflow incense burner, producing cascading smoke that flows downwards like a waterfall.
Palo Santo, meaning “Holy Wood” in Spanish, has a long history of aromatic and ceremonial use in parts of South America. Its distinctive fragrance is typically woody, warm, earthy and subtly sweet, making it especially popular for meditation and rituals centred around cleansing, grounding and positive intentions.
🌳 Warm & Woody – A distinctive wood-inspired fragrance with earthy and subtly sweet aromatic notes
✨ Cleansing Intentions – Palo Santo is traditionally associated with rituals focused on cleansing and refreshing the atmosphere of a space
🌎 Grounding – Its earthy character makes it a popular aromatic companion for grounding and reconnecting with your surroundings
🛡️ Protection Intentions – Often incorporated into personal spiritual practices centred around protection and creating an intentional space
🧘 Meditation & Mindfulness – Ideal for creating a deeper, more atmospheric environment for meditation and reflection
🔮 Spiritual Practices – Perfect alongside crystals, tarot, oracle cards, journaling and intention-setting rituals
Unlike ordinary incense cones, backflow dhoop cones are specially designed with a hollow channel that allows the smoke to travel downwards when used with a compatible backflow burner.
Once the cone begins producing heavier smoke, it cascades through the burner to create a beautiful waterfall or mist-like effect.
For the best visual effect, use your burner indoors and away from fans, open windows, air conditioning or strong drafts.

Place one Satya Palo Santo Backflow Dhoop Cone on the designated position of a compatible backflow incense burner, ensuring the hole underneath the cone aligns correctly with the burner.
Light the pointed top of the cone and allow it to burn briefly. Gently blow out the flame and allow the cone to smoulder.
After the smoke develops, it will begin travelling through the hollow centre of the cone and cascade down through your backflow burner.
Backflow cones can leave a natural oily or smoke residue on burners and nearby surfaces. Place your burner on a stable, heat-resistant and easy-to-clean surface and clean it regularly.
Always use in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from children, pets, drafts and flammable materials, and never leave burning incense unattended.
