What is Heulandite?

Heulandite is a zeolite mineral that forms flat, coffin-shaped crystals with a pearly lustre. It grows in cavities in volcanic basalt, especially in the Deccan Traps of India, often together with stilbite and apophyllite. It is named after the English mineral collector John Henry Heuland.
