What is Stilbite?

Stilbite is a zeolite that forms sheaf- or bow-tie-shaped clusters of peach, salmon or white crystals, often with apophyllite, in basalt cavities of India's Deccan Traps. The name comes from the Greek for "to shine", for its pearly lustre.
